Ozo Group, market leader in the hospitality and services industry has supported San Giljan ASC women’s water polo team through a sponsorship deal, with the team carrying Ozo Group as the official name.
With the season coming to an end, Ozo Group is proud to have sponsored the San Giljan’s water polo team, as this serves as an opportunity to provide an added value to the community, whilst being associated with such a professional club.
Chief HR Officer, Marvic Mifsud Taylor said that this sponsorship is much more than financial support, but is an investment in equality and promoting change in the sport arena by empowering women through sport, as well as encouraging female participation.
San Giljan ASC, founded in 1949, is one of the main Aquatic clubs on the island. With a history of over 70 years, the club competes in the local Water Polo and Swimming Competitions.
The Club is proud 2020 double champions and 2021 KO champions holder, with a strong vision for the future particularly in the development of its junior sector for both girls and boys and with ambitious plans for the development of the Club’s facilities.
